Product Overview

A Beautifully Designed Escape for Everyday Wellness

The SaunaLife E7WB reimagines the classic outdoor barrel sauna with a sophisticated black exterior, generous ergonomic seating, and a panoramic rear window that connects your sauna experience to the natural world.

Part of SaunaLife's acclaimed Ergo Series, the E7WB is designed around what matters most: comfortable seating, authentic sauna heat, quality materials, and enduring outdoor performance.

A More Comfortable Sauna Experience

Unlike smaller barrel saunas that can feel restrictive, the E7WB features an expansive 77.2-inch interior diameter and generous 6'5" standing height. Its contoured Thermo-Aspen benches and ergonomically arched backrest encourage a more natural, relaxed seating position, making longer sauna sessions feel comfortable and inviting.

A Panoramic Connection to Nature

The signature half-moon rear window welcomes daylight into the sauna and frames views of your surrounding landscape. Whether overlooking a wooded backyard, garden, or mountain retreat, the expansive glass brings a greater sense of openness to every session.

A Modern Black Exterior

Included with the E7WB are two containers of PROSAUNAS SaunaShield Black paint, specifically formulated for outdoor sauna wood. Applied after assembly, this premium protective finish creates a rich black exterior that elevates the traditional barrel shape into a contemporary architectural statement.

Crafted for the Outdoors

Constructed from substantial 1.65-inch full-length Thermo-Spruce staves, the E7WB is designed for dimensional stability, durability, and excellent thermal performance. A black shingle roofing system, drip-edge rails, heavy-duty stainless steel bands, and dual floor drains provide thoughtful protection for year-round outdoor use.

Lighting That Sets the Mood

The included white LED lighting system offers a soft, even glow without visible LED dots. Control your lighting through the compatible smartphone app or included wireless remote, with adjustable dimming to create the atmosphere you prefer.

The result is a beautifully considered outdoor sauna designed to make authentic Finnish sauna bathing a natural part of everyday life.

Frequently Asked Questions

The E7WB is designed to accommodate up to four people. Its spacious interior diameter, contoured Thermo-Aspen benches, and curved backrest provide a more comfortable seating experience than many compact barrel saunas. For those who prefer extra personal space, it is also an excellent option for two people.

Both models feature the same Ergo Series barrel design, panoramic half-moon rear window, Thermo-Spruce construction, and ergonomic seating. The E7WB additionally includes two containers of PROSAUNAS SaunaShield Black paint, allowing you to create a sophisticated black exterior finish during installation.

No. The E7WB includes the black SaunaShield paint, which is applied on-site after assembly. This allows the exterior to receive its protective finish once the sauna has been constructed.

The sauna heater is selected separately so you can choose the heating experience that best suits your preferences. Compatible electric and wood-burning options may be available, including traditional heaters with built-in controls and premium WiFi-enabled systems. Our team can help you select an appropriate heater and stone package.

Yes, when paired with a compatible traditional sauna heater and approved sauna stones, the E7WB is designed for authentic Finnish sauna bathing. Pouring small amounts of water over properly heated stones creates löyly, the soft wave of steam that enhances the sauna experience.

Yes. The E7WB is specifically engineered for outdoor installation. Its thick Thermo-Spruce staves, black shingle roofing system, stainless-steel barrel bands, drip-edge rails, and dual floor drains are designed to support long-term outdoor performance. Proper site preparation and routine care remain important.

Yes. The included white LED lighting system supports WiFi/app-based operation and also includes a handheld wireless remote for convenient on/off and dimming control. The lighting system operates independently of your selected sauna heater control.

The E7WB is supplied as a DIY sauna kit designed for assembly by capable installers. Two people with appropriate tools and construction experience can typically complete the structural assembly in approximately one to two days, depending on site conditions and experience. Professional assembly is also an option. Electrical connections must be completed according to applicable codes and manufacturer requirements.

The sauna should be installed on a level, stable, load-bearing surface capable of supporting its assembled weight, the heater, and occupants. Suitable foundations may include a properly constructed concrete pad, paver surface, or reinforced deck. Proper drainage, ventilation, and access around the sauna should be considered during site preparation.

Thermo-Spruce undergoes a controlled heat-treatment process that improves dimensional stability and resistance to moisture-related deterioration without chemical preservatives. SaunaLife pairs this durable exterior material with smooth, knot-free Thermo-Aspen benches and backrests for comfortable contact surfaces. Both materials are well suited to traditional sauna construction.
