Real Stones. Real Steam. Real Sauna.
Complete Package
We've paired the TITAN SL1 with the proper quantity of sauna stones required for operation, so there's no need to determine stone sizing or quantity separately.
Your package arrives with approximately 44 lb of properly sized sauna stones ready for loading according to the manufacturer's instructions.
Propane Freedom
No dedicated 240V circuit. No electrical panel upgrade. No trenching power across the property.
Connect the TITAN SL1 to the appropriate propane source and enjoy traditional sauna heat in locations where electrical service may be unavailable or impractical.
Traditional Löyly
This is not simply a hot-air heater.
The open stone basket holds approximately 44 lb of sauna stones, creating substantial thermal mass for softer radiant heat and allowing water to be poured over the hot stones for traditional steam and löyly.
No Chimney Required
Get the experience of a traditional stone sauna heater without planning a chimney penetration or maintaining a fire.
There is no wood to split, stack, ignite, or continuously tend—and no ash to clean after your session.
Adjustable Heat
With adjustable output from approximately 4.5–8.1kW / 15,300–27,600 BTU, the TITAN SL1 gives you greater control over the sauna environment based on room size, outdoor conditions, and how you like to sauna.
Made to Move
At approximately 33 lb before stones, the TITAN SL1 is exceptionally versatile compared with permanently installed sauna heaters.
Use it as part of a portable SaunaTrekker system or integrate it into an appropriate outdoor sauna environment that meets SaunaLife's installation and ventilation requirements.
Propane vs. Electric vs. Wood
Why Choose Propane?
Compared with Electric
Many traditional electric sauna heaters require a dedicated 240V circuit, correctly sized breaker and wiring, and professional electrical installation.
For a remote sauna location, getting power to the sauna can sometimes become one of the most complicated parts of the project.
The TITAN SL1 requires no electrical service to operate.
Compared with Wood-Burning
Wood-fired sauna is an incredible experience, but it comes with additional considerations:
- Chimney installation
- Required clearances
- Firewood storage
- Fire starting
- Continuous fire tending
- Ash removal
- Longer preparation
Propane dramatically simplifies the ritual while retaining one of the elements we consider most important in a traditional sauna:
a substantial mass of hot sauna stones capable of producing steam and löyly.
The Sauna Experience
Soft Heat + Satisfying Steam
One of the biggest differences between a true traditional sauna heater and many portable heat sources is the stone mass.
The TITAN SL1 holds approximately 44 lb of stones.
As those stones heat, they store substantial thermal energy and help create the softer, enveloping sauna climate associated with traditional bathing.
Pour water over the properly heated stones and that stored energy releases a burst of steam—löyly—temporarily increasing humidity and transforming how the heat feels against the skin.
For us, that's an important part of what makes sauna feel like sauna.
Built for Adventure
Portable Without Feeling Temporary
Portable wellness equipment often requires compromising the actual experience.
The TITAN takes a different approach.
Its compact form and propane fuel source make it highly transportable, while the stainless steel and brass construction, substantial stone capacity, adjustable output, and traditional steam capability deliver an experience much closer to a permanent sauna heater.
It's why we especially like the TITAN for people who want the freedom of a portable system without giving up the ritual of traditional sauna bathing.
