Foundation Requirements
A solid, level foundation is essential for the Celto S. The base must be able to support the sauna’s total weight, bathers, heater, stones, and any accessories.
Recommended foundation options may include:
- Concrete slab
- Reinforced concrete pad
- Properly engineered deck
- Level paver base
- Compacted gravel pad with structural support
- Contractor-built platform designed for the sauna load
The sauna should not be installed directly on soft soil, uneven ground, or any surface that may settle over time.
Access Planning
Before delivery, confirm that the sauna components can be safely moved from the delivery location to the final installation area.
Review the full path from the driveway or delivery point to the final sauna location, including:
- Driveway access
- Gate width
- Tight turns
- Stairs
- Slopes
- Retaining walls
- Landscaping
- Overhead wires
- Fences
- Equipment access
- Space for staging components
If the sauna will be installed in a backyard, your contractor or installation crew should have a clear plan for moving the materials after delivery.
Assembly
The Celto S is delivered as a sauna kit and is not delivered fully assembled. It is designed for on-site assembly by an experienced DIYer, contractor, carpenter, or sauna installation professional.
Electrical Requirements
Electrical requirements depend on the heater package, controller, lighting, and accessories selected. Most electric sauna heaters require a dedicated 220–240V circuit installed by a licensed electrician.
Your electrician should review the exact heater manual, controller manual, extension box instructions if applicable, and lighting requirements before quoting or beginning work.
If you choose a Wi-Fi heater package, confirm that your sauna location has a strong internet connection or plan for a Wi-Fi extender, outdoor access point, or point-to-point connection.
