Yes — the Elite Pro 1HP ships with 1/2" quick-connect fittings that fit the vast majority of standard cold plunge tubs, stock tanks, and inflatable plunges on the market. If your tub has larger 3/4" ports, the included 3/4"→1/2" reducer adapter handles that too — it ships standard with every 1HP.

The Elite Pro 1HP holds a true 37°F (3°C) even in warm summer conditions. Actual cool-down time depends on tub size, insulation, ambient temperature, and starting water temp, but a typical 80-gallon plunge tub in a 70°F garage will drop from 70°F to about 45°F in roughly 2–4 hours. Once you hit your set temperature, the chiller cycles on and off to hold it — most owners run it continuously so a cold plunge is ready 24/7.

If you want the coldest plunges possible with ice formation, look at the Elite ICE 2HP (down to 32°F). If you want a quieter, more compact cool-only unit for smaller spaces, look at the Essential 0.3HP.

The Elite Pro 1HP plugs into a standard 120V household outlet using a NEMA 5-15P plug — no special wiring required. A dedicated 120V / 15A circuit is recommended so the chiller isn't sharing a breaker with other high-draw appliances, and the outlet must be GFCI-protected (a licensed electrician can install a GFCI outlet or breaker if you don't already have one).

No extension cords, power strips, or adapters — the chiller must plug directly into the wall outlet.

Ozone (O₃) is a powerful natural sanitizer used in professional spas and municipal water treatment. The Elite Pro's built-in ozone generator continuously injects a small amount of ozone into circulating water, where it neutralizes bacteria, viruses, and organic contaminants — then breaks back down into ordinary oxygen with no residual chemistry.

The practical benefit: dramatically less chlorine, hydrogen peroxide, or manual sanitizer dosing. With the integrated ozone system running, most owners drain and refill the tub every 4–8+ weeks instead of every few days.

Filter replacement: Rinse the paper cartridge weekly and swap it for a fresh one every 4–8 weeks depending on use and water conditions. Spare filters are available anytime through our support team.

Water changes: With the integrated ozone sanitation running, most owners go 4–8+ weeks between water changes. Frequency depends on how many people use the plunge and how quickly you cycle sessions.

Flow rate: If a low-flow warning appears, check and rinse the filter first — clogged filters are the most common cause. The chiller requires a minimum 14 L/min flow to operate safely.

Yes — the Elite Pro 1HP is rated IPX4 water-resistant and certified for outdoor use. For maximum longevity, place the chiller under a cover, awning, patio roof, or in a well-ventilated shed to protect it from direct rain, snow, and prolonged sun exposure.

Winter operation: If outdoor temperatures drop below 34°F (1°C), you must winterize — drain the chiller and hoses and either store the unit indoors or use a heat-traced enclosure. Freezing water can crack internal plumbing, and freeze damage is not covered under warranty.

Summer operation: Ambient temperatures above 113°F (45°C) can cause overheating. Keep the chiller shaded and ventilated in extreme heat.

Yes — this is one of the Elite Pro 1HP's biggest advantages. Unlike single-mode chillers, it's a full contrast therapy system — it both cools (down to 37°F) and heats (up to 107°F / 42°C) from the same cabinet, so you can run cold plunges, warm baths, or full contrast sessions from one unit without buying a separate heater.

Note: the Elite Pro tops out at 107°F, which is ideal for contrast therapy and warm baths. If you want higher heat for a true hot tub experience (up to 113°F), step up to the Elite ICE 2HP.
