Designed for Harvia Spirit Series Heaters
The HSP3M is built for compatible Harvia Spirit electric sauna heaters and is a natural finishing accessory for Spirit SP60, SP80, and SP90-style installations.
Helps Improve Heater-Area Safety
The safety rail helps create a visual and physical buffer around the heater area, reducing the likelihood of accidental contact with hot heater surfaces.
Space-Saving Design
The HSP3M adds protection without requiring a large freestanding heater guard, making it a strong option for compact sauna rooms and efficient layouts.
Black Birch Surface
The black birch surface gives the rail a refined, modern appearance that pairs beautifully with the Harvia Spirit heater and premium sauna interiors.
Stainless Steel Brackets
Stainless steel brackets provide a strong, clean mounting solution designed for the heat and humidity of traditional sauna use.
Flexible Installation
Install one rail at the preferred height around the top of the heater, or use multiple rails depending on your sauna layout, movement patterns, and desired level of protection.
Clean Finished Look
The HSP3M helps the heater area look complete, intentional, and integrated into the overall sauna design.
Why Add a Safety Railing?
A Small Upgrade That Makes the Sauna Feel More Complete
A sauna heater safety railing is one of those details that can be easy to overlook during the planning stage, but it can make a meaningful difference once the sauna is in daily use.
In compact sauna rooms, outdoor sauna kits, and family-use saunas, bathers often pass close to the heater when entering, exiting, adjusting benches, or moving between sauna rounds. The Harvia HSP3M Safety Railing helps define the heater area and creates a helpful reminder to keep distance from the hot heater body and sauna stones.
It also improves the finished look of the installation. Rather than leaving the heater area feeling exposed, the HSP3M adds a clean, modern protective detail that matches the design language of the Harvia Spirit.
The safety railing does not make the heater safe to touch, but it does help create a more thoughtful and protected heater zone.
Is the Harvia HSP3M Right for Your Sauna?
The Harvia HSP3M is a strong add-on if you are installing a compatible Harvia Spirit Series sauna heater and want the heater area to feel more protected, polished, and complete.
It is especially helpful for:
Compact sauna rooms
- Outdoor sauna kits
- Family saunas
- Guest-use saunas
- Vacation rental wellness spaces
- Saunas with heaters near the door
- Saunas where bathers pass close to the heater
- Custom sauna builds with a visible heater area

If you have a Harvia KIP, Cilindro, Club, Virta, The Wall, HUUM, Saunum, or another non-Spirit heater, this railing is not the correct safety rail.

Installation Notes
The Harvia HSP3M Safety Railing should be installed according to the official Harvia installation manual and your sauna layout.
General installation guidance:
- Confirm compatibility with your exact Harvia Spirit heater model before ordering
- Review the manufacturer installation instructions before installing
- Maintain all required heater clearances
- Install the rail at the appropriate height for your sauna layout
- Use one or multiple rails depending on desired coverage
- Do not use the safety rail as a shelf, step, handle, or support
- Do not hang towels, robes, or accessories from the safety rail
- Do not place combustible items on or against the rail
- Keep children and guests aware that the heater area remains hot
- Have your sauna installer or qualified professional install the rail if needed
The safety railing helps reduce accidental contact, but it does not make the heater safe to touch. The heater, stones, and nearby metal surfaces can become extremely hot during and after sauna use.
